My goal is to provide a well-rounded music education to students of all ages and abilities. By following the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) curriculum and conventional methods, students are able to build a solid foundation, which will enable them to play music independently.  An integrated approach to the study of piano and music theory will develop an enhanced understanding and appreciation of music.

I introduce technical and conceptual challenges in a progressive manner.  The focus is on progress and positive feedback to build confidence.  Lessons are customized for individual students based on strengths and areas that require improvement.  I practice collaborative goal setting with parents and students.

My belief is that all students benefit from music lessons.  All are welcome regardless if their goal is to attain a high standing with the RCM or if they want to learn for personal enjoyment.
